LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro says a father shot and killed his 30-year-old son during a domestic disturbance in a northwest Las Vegas home Tuesday evening. The incident occurred on the 6200 block of Burnt Hills Drive just after 5 p.m.
The situation was treated as a barricade when the father refused to come out of the home on police orders. SWAT was called to the scene, but when the team arrived, the man surrendered.
Metro Lieutenant Ray Spencer said they responded to a prior domestic disturbance situation that was verbal only within the last two months. The son lived with his parents.
Neighbors identified the father as Glenn, and the son as Eric.
