Nye County Sheriff arrest man who allegedly made threats against Valley Electric

A man accused of making terroristic threats against Valley Electric employees was arrested.

Nye County Sheriff said it all unfolded on April 2 when a man called Valley Electric upset that his power had been turned off. The caller later identified as 55-year-old Paul Kane of Beatty, Nevada, threatened to kill everyone at the business, deputies said.  

Deputies went to Kane’s home in Beatty and arrested him. He was booked in the Nye County jail on the charge of threats concerning terrorism.
