LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada Highway Patrol’s DUI Strike Team arrested 20 drivers suspected of DUI on Saturday.
According to the NHP post on Twitter, in addition to the DUI arrests, the team made 160 stops, issued 42 citations, made two other arrests and recovered some firearms.
The DUI Strike Team was formed a few years ago to get impaired drivers off the road. Over the summer, the team made its 2,000th arrest.
Over the weekend, NPH troopers posted tweets during the DUI blitz of what they encountered on local roads.
