NHP: I-15 southbound traffic delay starting to subside on Labor Day, now backed up 14 miles

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP) reported a 12-mile back up from Primm to Jean on Monday morning. If you are leaving Las Vegas as part of your Labor Day travel plans, NHP advises drivers to be patient and drive safe. Hours later, the traffic delay grew to 22-miles. As of 5:37 p.m. Interstate 15 trafffic delays are beginning to subside.

NHP expects traffic to ease up in the next few hours.

Traffic delays are beginning to subside, but the back up is still reported to be 14-miles long on I-15 southbound towards.
