LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Every 90 minutes, someone gets diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or ALS. It’s a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord and there is no cure.

The key is getting diagnosed early so treatment can begin earlier. Good Day anchor John Langeler talked with Indu Navar, the founder of Everything Gals and the Peter Cohen Foundation about some citizen-driven research that could help with that.
