LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police hope the public can help solve a hit-and-run crash that left a 24-year-old motorcyclist with critical injuries.

Metro police said the vehicle involved in the crash was a stolen silver Honda CR-V and the two occupants fled the crash scene which was near the intersection of Flamingo and Sandhill roads Friday morning.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash was reported around 4:35 a.m., and the motorcyclist was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the driver of the stolen Honda was headed eastbound in the far right lane of Flamingo and changed lanes causing the motorcyclist who was also headed eastbound in the left travel lane to collide with the rear of the Honda.

Police said two men fled from the stolen Honda.
