Metro police arrest woman accused of killing man near downtown Las Vegas

Metro police have arrested the woman accused of killing a man during a dispute over a motorcycle.

Kayla Biron, 25, was arrested on Monday Jan. 28 by the Criminal Apprehension Team at a residence in the southeast Las Vegas Valley without incident. Biron was transported to the Clark County Detention Center and faces a murder with deadly weapon charge.

Metro Police said on Jan. 10 she was meeting the victim to retrieve a motorcycle in alley near Industrial Road and West Wyoming Avenue.

They also said the victim was pushing the motorcyle down the alley and was confronted by Biron. The two started arguing and that’s when investigators said Biron pulled out a shotgun and shot the male victim. The man was transported to the hospital where he later died.

Investigators said the motorcylce had been passed around several people, and there was an ongoing dispute between the victm and Biron.
