Metro Police investigated a shooting near downtown Las Vegas Thursday night. According to Metro, officers were called to Oahu Street near Charleston and Palm Street around 6:20 p.m. to investigate reports of a person lying in the roadway.
When officers arrived on scene they found a person with a gunshot wound to the face.
The person was transported to UMC in critical condition.
