Metro Police are investigating a deadly shooting involving two officers near the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Gary Avenue, which is south of Blue Diamond.
According to Metro, a man suspected of DUI was shot and killed after he shot at officers who were responding to a three-car crash around 8 a.m.
The man refused to take a sobriety test, ran from the scene and pulled a gun on the officers, police said.
Witnesses told police, the man hid the gun in a bush prior to the police arriving at the scene.
Rainbow Boulevard is closed from Blue Diamond to Mountains Edge Parkway.
This is the 20th officer-involved shooting this year.
