UPDATE: Coroner identifies man shot, killed at southeast Valley apartment complex

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Coroner has identified Dylan Duke Dean, 21, as the man shot and killed at an apartment complex in the southeast Valley on May 29. His death was ruled a homicide, caused by a gunshot wound of the neck.

The incident occurred in 3900 block of Mountain Vista around just before 8 p.m.

Police say the shooting happened after the victim got into a physical confrontation with two other men. During the incident, the suspect pulled out a firearm and shot Dean.

The two suspects fled the scene before police arrived.

Dean was taken to Sunrise Trauma were he was later pronounced dead.
