LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro Police are investigating after a body was found Saturday, July 3.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim as Miles Smith of Las Vegas, 55. The cause of death is from a gunshot wound to the chest and the manner of death is homicide.
The body was found in the 2400 block of Clifford Avenue, near Charleston and Eastern. The body was found inside an apartment in the area.
Police say, due to the suspicious circumstances, the homicide unit has taken over the investigation.
At this time, neither a suspect or motive have been determined.
This is an ongoing investigation.
