Man stabbed, injured during fight at Wild Wild West Casino

One person suffered serious injuries and a suspect is in custody after a stabbing near the Las Vegas Strip.

Metro Police says there was a fight between two individuals at the Wild Wild West Gambling Hall before 5 p.m. on the 3300 block of West Tropicana Avenue. Both people were in town on business before the incident.  

During the fight, the suspect pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim in the chest, according to police. 

The victim was transported to University Medical Center Trauma with serious injuries, but is expected to survive.
