Man killed in Summerlin crash identified

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man who was killed in a crash over the weekend has been identified as 59-year-old Teodulo Martinez-Rios, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office.

According to police, a silver Toyota pickup truck ran a red light and collided with a silver Nissan sedan traveling eastbound on Charleston Boulevard around 8:20 a.m. The Toyota struck the Nissan causing the Nissan to collide with a wall. 

The driver of the Nissan, who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local area hospital. Martinez-Rio was the driver of the Toyota and was not wearing a seatbelt. He was pronounced deceased on scene by medical personnel.
