A man was hit by a train in downtown Las Vegas near the Washington Avenue railroad overpass near Main Street, according to Las Vegas Fire and Rescue.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m.
According to the fire department, the man had to be pulled from underneath the train by firefighters. He has been taken to UMC with serious injuries.
