Coroner identifies person found shot, killed on sidewalk in Henderson

HENDERSON, Nev. (KLAS) — The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified a man found shot to death on a sidewalk in Henderson. The coroner identified the victim as 26-year-old Kevin Farnsworth of Henderson.

City of Henderson Police and Fire Department responded Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. to the area of W. Warm Springs Road and Donner Pass Drive and found an unresponsive adult male on the sidewalk.

According to Henderson Police, Farnsworth was dead and had apparent had a gunshot wound.

Initially Henderson detectives revealed Farnsworth had been walking on Warm Springs Road talking on his cell phone when the shooting occurred.

This the second homicide being investigated by the City of Henderson for 2020.

Henderson Police are investigating the death of a man found on a sidewalk Tuesday night. His body was located at Warm Springs Road and Cebolla Street near Valle Verde Drive.

Authorities say he died under “unknown circumstances.”

The incident is active and ongoing, and some roads may be blocked as a result of the investigation.
