The ramp connecting U.S. 95 southbound to I-15 northbound will open Sunday after being closed since Aug. 2017.

The ramp has been reconfigured, widened and repaved.

Also opening Sunday morning are three other ramps that have been closed for the past 17 months:

  • MLK Blvd. on-ramp to I-15 southbound (now located on the eastside of MLK Blvd.)
  • MLK Blvd. on-ramp to I-15 northbound.
  • MLK Blvd. on-ramp to U.S. 95 southbound.

The improvements are part of Project Neon which is a 4-mile long widening of I-15 that began in 2016. It is costing $1 billion and is more than 90 percent completed.
