LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The woman killed in a crash on the 215 Northern Beltway last week has been identified as 30-year-old Ivana Rushfield of Las Vegas.
According to police, Rushfield’s car crashed into the rear end of a truck. Rushfield died as a result of blunt force trauma, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Rushfield’s passenger was critically injured in the Friday, Nov. 11 crash that resulted in a more than three-hour closure of the westbound lanes of the 215 Northern Beltway near the Centennial Bowl.
The passenger was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries, according to NHP Trooper Tavis Smaka.
The vehicle rear-ended a commercial truck.
The closure of the freeway lanes caused major delays.
