Lawmakers look to repeal $38M tax credits offered to Faraday Future

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — At the end of 2015, the legislature rushed to Carson City to approve nearly $40 million in tax cuts so that the Chinese company Faraday Future would start building its electric cars in North Las Vegas. 

That project never materialized, because Faraday Future faced a cash crunch and had to abandon the idea. But those tax credits approved by the legislature are still on the books, and now lawmakers are looking to repeal them.
