LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Metro police have asked residents in a neighborhood near Alta and Decatur to evacuate after an old military explosive was discovered nearby.
The discovery was made on Monday and officers said the armor detail responded to ensure the device was safe.
Police also said the device was believed to be inert.
Nellis Air Force Base officers also responded to the area to remove the device.
