UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 30-year-old, Darrion Walker, of North Las Vegas. According to the Clark County Coroner’s office, his cause of death was a gunshot wound to the back.

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — One man is dead and another was hospitalized after a shooting at an apartment complex in the northeast Las Vegas valley, according to police.

On Friday around 7:31 p.m., Metro police received a report of a shooting in the 4500 block of East Bonanza Road near Lamb Boulevard.

Arriving officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to University Medical Center where one was pronounced dead. The second victim is currently in stable condition, according to police.

According to police, the two men were involved in an argument in the parking lot with a male suspect. During the argument, the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victims before leaving the area.
