LAS VEGAS (KLAS) – The northbound lanes of U.S. 95 reopened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday following a deadly car crash Monday night that closed the freeway lanes for more than four hours.

Initial reports from the Regional Transportation Commission described the incident on U.S. 95, north of downtown, as a car fire in the far right lanes.

According to Nevada State Police, the fatal crash was reported shortly after 10 p.m. on U.S. 95 northbound near Decatur Boulevard.
