High winds knock down tree in Summerlin; flood advisory replaced by wind advisory

High winds roared through part of the Las Vegas valley Thursday night, even tearing down a tree in the Summerlin area.

Winds hit about 55-60 miles an hour in the area of Echo Mesa Drive.

On Thursday night, Meteorologist Tedd Florendo said a wind advisory replaced the flood advisory for the day.
