Many experts felt the Golden Knights needed to make a big move at the NHL trade deadline, the front office did just that.
General Manager George McPhee announced Monday the team acquired Ottawa Senators leading scorer and alternate captain Mark Stone. The move was needed to help the teams lack of scoring and forward depth. The newly acquired Stone was set to be an unrestricted free agent at seasons end but signed a new 8-year deal to stay in Las Vegas.
