Free genetic testing in Southern Nevada

Local News

UMC has launched the Healthy Nevada Project in Southern Nevada. It’s the first-of-its-kind community based health study combining genetic, clinical, environmental and social data.

It’s free for up to 25,000 Las Vegans.

Nevada is the only state to offer the program, and will serve as the model for a national expansion.

Study volunteers will receive complimentary ancestry results through a spit sample at one of UMC’s testing sites.

Here is the phone number, if you want more information: (775) 982-6914.
