Clark County Fire Chief Greg Cassell said when the first fire crews arrived at the scene, there was so much smoke they couldn’t tell what building was on fire. He said the building could have been burning for hours before an alarm went off.

The fire, which destroyed The Park at 3900, started in the attic and spread. Several businesses lost nearly everything in the blaze.

Clark County Fire Dept. did an update at 3 p.m.
