FINAL DAY OF SCHOOL: Police respond to multiple high school fights across the valley

AS VEGAS (KLAS) — Clark County School District Police say they responded to multiple fights across Las Vegas valley today – the last day of school. 

As we reported earlier, police first reported to a fight between two males at Canyon Springs High School early this morning. We’ve now learned that they were also called to Chaparral High School shortly after 9 a.m. for a fight involving 10 female students. 

Officers say the fight took place in the quad and pepper spray was used to break up the crowd. All ten of the girls involved were cited for disorderly conduct and 1 girl was cited for making contact with a staff member. 

Later in the afternoon, police caught wind of a fight that took place at Cheyenne High School in North Las Vegas. Police didn’t provide much information on this incident other than saying it took place around 11 a.m. in the bus loading area.
