UPDATE: Joshua Olvera, 33, was identified as the man who was killed on Sunday in a crash along the I-15 at Tropicana Avenue.
LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man is dead after a Sunday afternoon crash on the I-15, according to Nevada State Police Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred just after 12 p.m. on the I-15 at Tropicana. Police said that a Yamaha sports bike was traveling northbound on the I-15 when the rider made an unsafe lane change causing the bike to crash and the ride to be ejected.
The rider was taken to University Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead, police said.
Nevada State Police said that two travel lanes were closed however, all lanes opened back up around 5 p.m.
