LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Heather Korbulic has been the director of Nevada’s unemployment system for less than a week. The previous director resigned suddenly in the midst of more than 400,000 Nevadans filing claims.
8 News Now spoke with Korbulic about efforts to fix problems plaguing the outdated system.
The director covered several issues, including the new timeline for gig workers to be able to file.
