LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The U.S. Health and Human Services Department suffered a cyberattack on its computer system Sunday, according to major news outlets.

According to Bloomberg News, the attack was designed to slow down the agency’s systems, but apparently didn’t have much impact.

The National Security Council sent out a tweet late Sunday night dispelling text message rumors of a national quarantine that were supposedly related to the cyberattack.
