Coroner IDs man found in desert in early July

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man who was shot to death and left in the desert in early July has been identified as Santiago Alejandro Valdez.

The Clark County Coroner’s office said Wednesday that Valdez, 35, died of a gunshot wound to the head. He died on July 6.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the case as a homicide.
