The man accused of killing two people at Circus Circus on June 1, 2018 made his first court appearance in Las Vegas Tuesday morning.
Julius Trotter was extradited from California to face murder, robbery and burglary charges. Trotter is accused of killed two tourists visiting from Vietnam.
Trotter is also a suspect in a strong arm robbery that occurred in May at the Four Queens Hotel and Casino where he allegedly attacked an 81-year-old woman, beating her and stealing her jewelry and purse.
He waived his right to a preliminary hearing and told the judge he plans to hire his own attorney.
No bail has been set in this case.
