Zappos held its 5th Annual Holiday Toyshop Tuesday night near Stewart Ave. and Las Vegas Blvd.
“I came here three times and I think it’s a pretty amazing place,” said Edwin Yoguez.
The company transformed its campus into what looked like the North Pole.
“This is the fifth year where we’ve partnered with Zappos where we are giving out toys for the kids,” said Juan Salinas, Director of Social Services for the Salvation Army.
Almost 2,000 people got to walk through Zappos’ Toyshop.
“I know it’s hard for the parents not being able to provide for their kids but if we can make that little difference, It goes a long way,” said Salinas.
There was everything from remote control sports cars to Pogo sticks. The children were able to chose whichever toy they wanted.
“It makes you feel good and it brightens your day to see the kids be happy. It’s a really good feeling,” said Salinas.
Afterwards, the children got to take a photo with Santa and even played in the snow.
“I need help sometimes and it’s a little bit difficult,” said Blanca Gonzalez.
