Two candidates for the Nevada Supreme Court squared off during a lunchtime forum sponsored by the Las Vegas Chapter of the Federalist Society Friday.

Court of Appeals Judge Jerry Tao and District Court Judge Elissa Cadish are both vying for the seat of incumbent justice Michael Cherry, who is retiring. During the forum, moderator and Nevada Lieutenant Governor Mark Hutchison asked the candidates what role public policy plays when they decide cases.

Politics NOW host Steve Sebelius has the story.
