Thousands of Clark County students will head back to the classroom on Aug. 13. They will be greeted by  new Superintendent Dr. Jesus Jara who took over the reins during the summer.

He is challenged with a district facing a $68 million budget shortfall which meant cutting more than 500 teacher positions. That issue and more is looked at in this Channel 8 special, Back to School: A New Path Forward for CCSD.
