There’s a new addition to the family at Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat inside the Mirage.
They’re celebrating the birth of a baby bottlenose dolphin. The baby calf is still so young, she doesn’t have a name yet.
Only 11 days old and still has her fetal folds, which look like stripes on her side.
Reporter Hector Mejia talked with Erica Kiewence, the curator of dolphin care, to share how they are all taking care of the dolphin calf.
