LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Two people were found dead behind an AutoZone business on the east side of the Las Vegas valley on Monday night.

Officers responded to 3290 South Nellis Boulevard, near Desert Inn after reports in the area just before 5 p.m.

When officers arrived they found an unresponsive man and a woman near a makeshift shelter.

Police stated that foul play is suspected in the death of both victims.

The Metro police homicide section has taken over the investigation.

The identities and causes of death of the victims have not yet been released.
