2 juveniles hit, 1 killed by vehicle in southwest Las Vegas

Metro Police says one of the juveniles hit by a car in southwest Las Vegas has died.  

Metro started investigating the crash in which two juveniles were struck by vehicles near the intersection of W. Maule Avenue and S. Fort Apache Road Monday afternoon. The area is located in a neighborhood between Sunset and Warm Springs roads.

The juvenile who died was the one with critical injuries. Police said he was 12 years old.

The other juvenile suffered injuries to his leg and foot. Both youth were taken to Southern Hills Hospital for treatment.  

Fort Apache is closed in both directions.
