LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Some Las Vegas students received a special gift Monday morning. They got hand-knitted hats.

The hats were made by a group of women from the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints – Lake Mead Stake in Henderson. The group knits thousands of hats every year to donate to local school children.

Each of the children at Josh Stevens Elementary School received a knitted hat of their choice on Monday. Children at other schools will also be receiving hats.
