LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the man killed in a Tuesday night crash near McCarran International Airport as 46-year-old Thomas Decelles.
The incident occurred around 7:53 p.m. and involved two vehicles at East Russell and Maryland Parkway.
According to Metro Police, Decelles was driving eastbound on Russell when his car left the roadway and struck a traffic signal pole and a Honda Civic driven by a 40-year-old woman.
Decelles was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner’s office ruled his death accidental. The driver of the Honda who suffered minor injuries remained at the scene and showed no signs of impairment.
This is the 73rd traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction for this year.
