Local government union workers respond to Supreme Court’s ruling on union fees


The U.S. Supreme Court ruled on union fees Wednesday.  In a 5-4 vote, the court ruled that government workers can no longer be required to pay fees to labor organizations that represent them in collective bargaining.

Some government union workers gathered at the federal courthouse Wednesday evening to hold a news conference about the matter.
