With the Olympic swimming competition over, Las Vegas’ own Cody Miller is letting his hair down in Rio and it’s safe to say the pride of the Sandpiper team is having a blast.

Miller now has a couple of medals in his pocket and it’s time to see the sights in Rio.

Judging from his most recent tweets, that’s exactly what the 24-year-old from Palo Verde High School is doing.

He was spotted showing off his gold medal from the 4 by 100 medley with teammate Michael Phelps and earlier in the day he was on the bus with fellow swimmers to go live on the Today Show.

The self-described puppy enthusiast and nerd is also taking time to enjoy Rio’s world famous beaches.

When bed time rolled around, he even tweeted a picture of his gold medal on his pillow and asked, “Should I sleep with it?”
