An ex-official for the Bureau of Reclamation in Nevada has been indicted on federal charges.
The I-Team first broke the story on the raids at the bureau’s office in Boulder City. Fredrick Leavitt’s home and the accountant’s office in February of 2016.
According to the indictment, Leavitt accepted a $200,000 bribe to help steer an auditing contract to a local accounting tax firm in 2015.
Both Leavitt and the accountant, Dustin Lewis, are expected to be arraigned on Dec. 21.
