LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Las Vegas police are looking for a suspect who fled the scene of a deadly shooting at an apartment complex in the central valley.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, the shooting was reported just before midnight Monday in the 1700 block of E. Karen Avenue, near Sahara Avenue and Maryland Parkway.

Police said the suspect got into an argument with the victim, 33-year-old Charles Murphy, before the suspect pulled out a firearm and shot him. The suspect fled from the scene and Murphy was transported to Sunrise Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The identification of the victim will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
