Fleury, Golden Knights continue home dominance in 3-0 win over Nashville

2018 started the same way 2017 ended, the Golden Knights continued its dominating play at the T-Mobile Arena Tuesday night.

It was home cooking again as the Knights defeated the defending Western Conference Champion Nashville Predators 3-0 to extend their winning streak to eight games.

Marc Andre Fleury stopped all 29 shots to earn his 2nd shutout of the season and Reilly Smith netted the game-winner on the powerplay midway through the second period.

The Golden Knights improve to 17-2-1 at home and 27-9-2 on the season. With the win, Vegas matched the Denver Nuggets as the only first-year team in any sport to win eight straight in their first season.

The team hits the road Thursday to take on the St. Louis Blues.
