A fire broke out around 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning at Boulevard Mall.

The Clark County Fire Department responded to 3528 Maryland Parkway following a report of something burning.

When firefighters arrived, they found a small fire on top of some wood pallets in one of the stores.

Investigators say there was some smoke intrusion into about four other stores and also some water damage caused to the structure when the sprinkler system activated.

No one was hurt in the fire, according to firefighters.

The response to this incident included four engines, one truck company, two Rescue and three Battalion Chiefs.
