Las Vegas Fire and Rescued responded to a early morning apartment fire Saturday.
Firefighters were called out to the Regency Place Apartments on the 2800 block on South Decatur Boulevard at 4:57 a.m. 
When firefighters arrived, heavy flames and smoke were coming out of an upstairs unit in a two story wood frame/stucco apartment building with 28 units. The living room and kitchen of the apartment also sustained heavy damage. Investigators say damage is estimated at $75,000.
None of the other apartments in the building were damaged by the fire.
Three adults and three children were taken to University Medical Center for minor smoke inhalation. 
There were no reported injuries and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. 
The American Red Cross is assisting with the any other residents.
Clark County firefighters also responded to the incident.
