Dust advisory issued today

Clark County’s Department of Air Quality has issued a dust advisory for Monday, Nov. 27 to alert residents of the possibility of elevated levels of blowing dust due to high winds in the Las Vegas valley.

The dust could cause problems for people with respiratory diseases.

Winds will be around 20 to 25 mph in most areas but there will be gusts up to 60 mph in the Spring Mountains.

The winds will precede a cold front that is moving into the valley/
