A man who died in Metro Police custody Wednesday afternoon has been identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as 41-year-old Jeff Dubois.
His cause of death is still pending.
Police said officers were detaining Dubois in relation to a felony crime in progress at the 7400 block of Silver Leaf Drive, near Flamingo Road and Rainbow Boulevard at 3 p.m.
He was taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and later died.
