Henderson Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men involved in a robbery.

On November 22 at 6 p.m., police responded to Solera Sky Drive and Tranquil Moon Street regarding a robbery. Police say one of the suspects approached a woman’s vehicle, took out a handgun and demanded the victim’s jewelry and purse.

“The world is definitely not as safe as we think it is and we’re reminded of that on a daily basis,” said Kelley Perez.

According to the release, the investigation revealed the suspects may have followed the victim from local businesses as she left from shopping.

Perez says she usually brings her husband with her when she braves the holiday-shopping crowds. It’s an extra pair of eyes and ears.

“My brother also gave me like a little pepper spray thing on my key chain… I carry that,” she said.

Perez was upset when we told her about what happened. But, she wasn’t surprised.

“It’s something that you have to keep in mind nowadays,” she said.

The first suspect is described as a white male adult, thin build, with light brown shaggy hair. He was last seen wearing a light colored hoodie and tan baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as a black male adult with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with black short sleeves and a dark colored baseball cap.

The suspect vehicle is described as a 2000-2003 silver Mercury Sable.

Anyone with information in the case is urged to call the Henderson Police Department at 702-267-4911, 3-1-1, or, to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.

Police say the victim did not sustain any injuries during the robbery.
