The Clark County Coroner’s office has identified the three people killed in a triple homicide in North Las Vegas.
The coroner said Susan Nash, 52, Deonte’ Nash, 31, and Dejona’e Nash, 20 were the people killed in a shooting Sunday near Lake Mead Boulevard and Simmons Street.
Susan was Deonte’ and Dejona’e’s mother.
One other person was injured and taken to the hospital, but their identity has yet to be released.
The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. in the parking lot of a shopping center. Officers believe the suspect got into an argument with the victims and then shot all four people. They do not believe the shooting was a random act of violence and say there may have been a relationship between the shooter and the victims.
According to friends, Susan was a special education teacher at Desert Pines High School. The Clark County School District confirms that they have an employee named Susan Nash.
No arrests have been made.
